My Studio

What I Use in My Studio

My studio operates as a hybrid setup where I do mixing/mastering as well as music production. Having an accurate playback system and room is essential for both. As an acoustic engineer, I have designed and tuned dozens of high-level Dolby Atmos theaters, screening rooms, and 2 channel studios/listening rooms, which I am proud to say are some of the best-sounding rooms in the world. So you can be assured that I have spent time engineering my own studio to have a very neutral and accurate response.

Every room has a different acoustic signature based on its size, geometry, and building materials. A lot of effort and engineering went into finding the optimal positions of my studio monitors, subwoofer, acoustic treatment, bass traps, and listening position based on my room parameters. I then use a digital signal processor (DSP) and an acoustic measurement mic to manually set the crossovers between my mains and the subwoofer and provide the final tuning via EQ.
